Our vision recognizes human participation and contribution is one of the greatest bonds between people and the organizations they value. It is a bond that builds affinity, trust, and results. We see the opportunity to take the web and social media one step further to allow people and organizations to engage in action allowing people to actively participate and contribute. Civio has produced a web application to allow organizations to fully engage people in action embracing your existing web and social media presence.
Who we are
In early 2009, we engaged with over 60 customers and partners to listen, capture their vision of how to best engage people and solicit their input in defining our new web platform. We were inspired by the level of enthusiasm, participation and contribution everyone showed for our project.

2009 proved to be a significant year for Civio and year of many accomplishments. We thank everyone for your support. In 2009 we built a company and a new web application that reflects from our customers, partners and investors collective visions. We are measured by our accomplishments, here are a number of our key milestones over the past year:
- Funded Civio with investments from leading angel investors and our founders
- Designed and developed our application engaging with customers and partners
- Established an Industry Advisory Board with representatives from each customer segment
- Built a development team with expertise in web and cloud computing technologies
- Developed our application on the Google App Engine and Datastore cloud infrastructue
- Completed our beta release to customers in the fall of 2009
- Partnering with the leading new media agencies to compliment our client's marketing and social media strategies
- Launched the Civio application to our customers
